Yesterday marked a significant day in my life – it was the day I paid an initial deposit to one of Australia’s largest home builders, Henley, to get the ball rolling on a knockdown/rebuild of my existing home in Heathmont, Victoria.
It was only this morning that I decided to create this blog in order to share my experiences as a first time home builder. Going into this building project I found it difficult to find accurate, impartial information on what the process would look like and what costs or frustrations that nobody told you about.
Over the next year or so, I hope to shine a spotlight on my experience building with Henley, and if I’m doing my job right, share with you those little insights nobody tells you about. All of my experiences will be documented here, be they good, bad, or indifferent.
