In order to provide a clearer picture of the work involved in completing a knockdown/rebuild I thought it would be useful to provide a timeline of events that took place aver the journey.

Henley’s site survey contractor called me to book a time for next Thursday

Henley’s soil testing
Henley’s soil testing contractor called me and wanted to book a time at my place the next day. As I was expecting other works to me occurring I moved that to the following Tuesday. “Henley Selections Guide” arrived in the post.

Henley contacted me
Henley contacted me to say they had made a mistake on my quote and needed to charge me an extra $2235
September 4
Second deposit
Second deposit paid to Henley
August 31
Initial home deposit paid
Today I paid my initial deposit to Henley to begin my new home. Hooray!
